As a part of the phenomenal creative team at Spitball Advertising, I had the absolute pleasure of collaborating on a campaign for the town our agency calls home. We have a long and successful history with the Red Bank River Center that markets the collective businesses and attractions of Red Bank, NJ, but this new campaign feels particularly unique and iconic.

Our team worked closely with the River Center marketing team as well as a board of downtown business owners in Red Bank to create a strategy, media plan, message, and visual style reflective of the artistic spirit of the town. In Red Bank every visit is a completely new and eclectic experience curated by the passionate craftspeople in every restaurant, bar, shop, and theater.

We built a campaign to show that Red bank is so much more than what you expect to find, which has since won 1st place for Magazine Ad Campaign in the 2020 NJ Ad Club Awards. My hand-drawn illustrations, featuring roughly 100 individual icons representing the diverse experiences Red Bank has to offer, are the hero images of the campaign. Each of these initial four illustrations reflect the experience of visiting the town itself, where it may be one thing that pulls you in, but the real fun is in exploring all you might find.

A visit to our town may begin with a shared drink between friends, a quest for the perfect shoes, a delicious bite to eat, or an unforgettable show. But no matter what brings you here, it's all the unexpected wonders you'll discover that make how you experience Red Bank…
